Nederhof helped reach an amicable settlement, averting the risk of an employment conflict between the company and its director that could have resulted in the compulsory offer by the director of a share package. On behalf of its client Nederhof – by proxy – attended shareholders meetings, constructively exercising the voting right, and – in close consultation with its client – managed to convince the other party to enter into an amicable settlement. Owing to successful negotiations the conflict did not escalate, and further legal expenses were avoided. The parties feel comfortable to continue doing business.
