Client: Potential new investor and buy-in manager
Industry: Publishing – weekly
For a group of potential new investors and a director (buy-in manager) Nederhof explored the possibilities of investing in a local weekly by means of the placement of additional share capital or the reduction of existing share capital.
When no agreement could be reached, a restart after bankruptcy was prepared. The capital injection by the new investors had to be big enough to effortlessly survive the worst-case scenario during the first three years. Nederhof did the calculations and analyses.
The company had a successful restart.
