A private investor wanted to place his investment in a new structure as part of a business succession scheme and tax restructuring. The portfolio comprised several investments in a variety of industries.
Nederhof was asked to determine the shares in the holding company, taking account of cross-border and industry-specific risks. Nederhof represented the private investor in the negotiations with the Tax and Customs Administration’s national business valuation team.
With the help of Nederhof agreement was reached eventually on the valuation and coupon rate of the cumulative preferred shares to be issued in the new structure.
