Over the years, two young entrepreneurs had become not just business partners but friends as well. One of them now wanted to try his luck elsewhere, and they decided to severe their business ties. Commercially not an easy feat as one of the company’s mainstays would be lost, leaving behind a small team of less experienced co-workers. The person who was to continue the business was pessimistic and considered the value to be nil. The retiring party begged to differ. Their friendship was put to the test.
